Kayaking on Lake Maurepas
At sunrise this morning, I went kayaking on Lake Maurepas. Lake Maurepas is sort of halfway between Baton Rouge and New Orleans.
I took a bunch of bird photos. There are birds in every photo below, but some aren't that obvious at first glance. I couldn't get very close without scaring them away.

Beuatiful pictures. Love the birds. the large ones appear to be great blue herons--which, as Jennifer may recall, is the official county bird of Coos County.
