Canoe Camping on Village Creek
This weekend, Mariana and I paddled the canoe down Village Creek and camped on a sandbar.
This area is part of Big Thicket National Preserve. It is also a Texas Paddling Trail.
Creek stats for my own future reference:
Discharge was 320 cubic feet per second
Gage height was 4.7 feet
Day high was 77F
Night low was 62F

Kayaking on Sheldon Lake
I didn't own my kayak when we lived in Houston before. So, even though we lived here for years, I have some exploring to do. This lake is only five miles from my house.
