Fredericksburg Trip

Jenny and I took a couple days off and had a four day weekend. We drove out to Fredericksburg, TX. Fredericksburg is a small town in central Texas. The area was settled by Germans in the 1800s, and that heritage is obvious.

We ate German food at each dinner - sausages, snitzels, hefeweizen, and sauerkraut. Each day we strolled around town and drove country roads taking pictures of wildflowers.

If you ever go, we recommend:

Where we stayed - Austin Street Retreat
Great pastries - Rather Sweet Bakery & Cafe
Best coffee - Fredericksburg Coffee & Tea
Our favorite restaurant - The Auslander Restaurant and Biergarten

Very cute.

She has grown so much! Looks like you are a typical Dad. Saw the same type of thing recently with Devin. Payton liked the new "bumble bee" car. Glad all of you had a good time on your trip.
