Home from the Hospital

Kevin is healthy, so we all came home from the hospital today.

After everyone else went to bed tonight, I sat in our yard and took pictures of birds.

Kevin was born today at 1:02 am.
7 lbs 10 oz

Jenny did a water birth and had no drugs. It was very impressive.

Mariana was with us the whole time. We had talked to her about what would happen, and she wasn't ever scared - just curious and excited.

Everything went really well, mainly because Jenny was awesome.

Easter Eggs

Jenny did most of the work in coloring the eggs. She didn't use dye. She used vegetables and spices. She also made Mariana's outfit. Of course.

Carved Cherry Hole Spoon

I carved a funky spoon out of a scrap of cherry. As I was making it, I thinned out the bowl too much and made a hole. So, rather than throw it away, I drilled a hole. It is a strainer spoon now.
