My Spokeshave

Since moving to the new house, I have been doing a lot of little home improvement projects rather than my normal woodworking. I did take the time to make this spokeshave though. The wood is cherry. It is about 11 inches long.

I have made a few other woodworking tools (e.g. mallet, scrapers, marking gauge), but this is the nicest.

First Day Back at School

August 12th, Monday, was Mariana's first day back at school. She was happy to be going back to see her old teachers and friends.

Wisconsin Vacation

On Tuesday, we flew home from a family vacation in Wisconsin. My parents had reserved cabins for me and my two brothers to all bring our families up. It was a lot of fun.
