The Apprenticeship Begins
Mariana wants to learn woodworking. I told her that she can start helping me in the workshop when she is three years old.
Today, I showed her how to drill holes the way they did it a hundred years ago. She knows which part is sharp. She also knows which parts can pinch. That is a pretty good start.

Blue and Green Shaker Boxes
I have given away several sets of Shaker oval boxes, and I decided it was time to make some to keep for myself. They have maple sides with pine tops and bottoms.
