Thanksgiving

We skipped town and spent Thanksgiving at Canyon of the Eagles, which is a 4.5 hour drive northwest of Houston. We all had a great time.

Actually, today we visited Swede Farm. They sell goat milk and goat cheese at the farmers' markets around town.

Mariana saw/petted/chased goats, turkeys, cats, dogs, rabbits, chickens, and probably a few other species.

Houston Zoo

Mariana had a great time at the Houston Zoo this morning!

Rocky Raccoon 50k

This morning I ran my first ultramarathon. I ran the Rocky Raccoon 50k trail race. 50 kilometers is about 31 miles.

Mariana was very excited when I came into view. She ran out and wanted to cross the finish line with me.

A year ago, I ran the 25k version of this race.
