Back in Houston

We made it back home - safe and sound. We had a great time in Oregon. Thank you to everyone who helped make it a wonderful vacation.

More Deer

Jenny got home from work before me, stole my camera, and took these photos of the deer across the street. There are a lot more deer than in my photos from yesterday. She is so competitive.

Deer

This deer was across the street from my house. They always bolt when I come out of the house to take pictures of them. I got this one by sneaking out the back door, walking around to the front, and peeking out from around the car in the driveway. Of course, the deer still knew I was there and ran off.

Sunflower

I dedicate most of my garden to herbs and vegetables. Very few flowers are planted. However, I do like throwing in a few sunflower seeds when I have a little extra room.

I took this photo in my garden this morning, just as the sun rose high enough to shine over our fence and onto the face of the flower. The flower bloomed just yesterday.
